An American Halftrack study I did sometime ago using whatever I could get my hands on that was old.

sasd,
As usual amazing. Great detail! On the back of the halftrack there is a chain. Did the kit come with that or did you make it?? If so may I ask out of what?? I have been looking for something like that. Keep up the good work. You do an amazing job.

Many thanks for the comments,Smokin, its a piece of jewelry chain that I liberated from my wifes jewelry collection that she never wears anymore, for that matter all chains have been liberated from her collection, lol!!
Super detail and the mud came out exceedingly realistic, thanks for the pics…

Wow great job. Cherbourg on that sign I see. Read a book about Cherbourg fiction though. Pretty good book. Well [#offtopic sorry back on topic. Great build.

Mud everywhere, this is straight and to the point. Good job Russ! Is this one of the ones that was donated to the musuem?
Sasd,
I told my wife about using the jewelry!!! All I got was “the look” and a hell no!!! Hee hee. Good thing I am home during the day while she works…

all i can say about that dio is WOW!! sweet sweet job.
Many thanks guys, heres a couple of things about this vig that you may or maynot have picked up on. First off I used as many old figures as I could on this halft,Monogram in the interior,Tamiya up front and outside the vehicle. When I did this one I had used up all of my halftrack kits on other vigs sooo,I dug around in my spare parts box to see what goodies I could come up with, and its well a mish mash of Tamiya and Monogram parts, one bogie is Tamiya the other is Monogram, that sort of thing, lol!
Lastly the mud is a mix of brown acrylic paint, whiteglue, water and dried tea grounds, give it a whirl!
Another fine job
