Hello all,

So I’ve been at this one awhile now, since July I think, with several interruptions along the way… Oh well. It will get done eventually. Anyway, I thought that I would post up a pic of the current progress. Not my best work, but this is more of a sentimental build than anything else…

I have to give props and a loud shout to my wife for her input in this build as she used to work on this aircraft. When it’s finished, it will be done in a scheme of one of the planes that she worked on. Tail number, flight and pilot, the whole nine yards…

Anyway, here it is so far…

Cool! Looks like its coming along nicely. I’ve got one of the 1/48 Tamiya F-117s in my stash that I’m looking forward to building.

Looks like Revell’s 1/48th, a decent, well-detailed kit.

It’s actually the Academy 1/48 kit. I bought it while it was stationed there. I have a few Academy kits that I picked up during my year at Camp Hovey. They were a lot cheeper…

Nothing wrong with Academy, they have some good kits. Nice work! I need to get a 117 under way.

I saw one at an air show on the ground. Someone there was trying to take a picture but the auto focus wasn’t working well on his camera. After several minutes I of watching I decided to tell the guy to aim the camera at one of the guards.
