I have been looking at these forums for a while and no one has realy said anything about half tracks.[:(] I was wondering if anyone new anything aobut modeling them such as weathering and detailing, if you could help me that would be grand![;)]
The same weathering techniques that are being discussed throughout these forums apply to halftracks, armoured cars and tracked vehicles. The methods are the same.
As shermanfreak said, halftracks traveled down the same roads and fields that the tanks used, so weather them accordingly.
I’m almost done with a halftrack. When I post pics you will see the weathering is the same techniques used on other armor.

There are several excellant publications on halftracks and thier varients - there are a couple conversion that I plan to do at some point.
