had a look at model company workshop

Hi Guys,
last wednesday i got the oppertunity to have a look around the workshop of heritage models. i have never seen resin (or any other ) kits being produced before and thought this was facinating. i watched 1/72nd TSR2’s being made (very fine engraved detail) and had a look at the brass frets (stunning stuff). saw some recently made 1/48th DeHavilland DH88 comets too. had a look at a couple of their current projects (which i am having to keep quiet about [;)] ). now for what you are wanting, here’s the link

hope you like, ( if you contact them mention you heard about them from greg at aeroventure, (can you guess i am after a discount LoL). this is a small Mom and Pop set up and they seem to pride themselves on good products and good customer service.
hope this is of use to some of you folks.

Sounds like a great experience. I had the opportunity to tour the Monogram Factory in Morton Grove several years ago, when they were still the original Monogram Co., & it was a lot of fun also.

Regards, Rick

Boy of boy would I love to have one of those TSR.2’s. Heck they have a bunch of stuff I’d love to get my hands on! [8D]

Hi Rick. i would have loved to tour the monogram factory too ,sounds like a cool tour
Hi Christopher,
what say we work something out for a TSR2?. i’m sure you’ll have something i want in your stash.
got myself a 1/48th DH88 put aside to pick up, gonna do the silver RAF one
btw are you going to build that vac kit TSR2?. i think they may sell the brass fret / white metal seperately if you ask nice. [;)]
Greg

Greg, Sounds like a great idea to me. I don’t think they make a 1/72 kit that I wouldn’t be thrilled to add to my stash.
