I have the Hobby Boss H-34A and both rotors face the wrong way (?) How can this happen and can it be replace? It looks like the Italeri kit has the tail wrong too.
I have the same kit. The rotors can be cut from the sprue and gently formed to bend the other way, I have done this without hassles.
The rotor hub assembly will have to have the blade grips cut off and fliped around as the pitch links are on the wrong side.
What I intend to do with the grips are to use a tiny drill to make holes through the grips into the central hub to help with aligning the grips in the new position aswell as give a better bond if I insert a small piece of wire through the holes.
I think on the tail rotor you will need to cut off the pitch actuators and flip the whole thing around.
It surely is a way cheaper option than to buy the Italeri kit just for rotors.

Whew. I spent a couple of hours this evening on the main blades while between coats of primer on the main airframes. I have two helos going. One Italeri, one HB.
The HB blades got dropped in boiled water and then bent and dropped in ice water. It took a while and towards the end it became easiest to run them back and forth over the curved tile edge of my kitchen counter.
They look good.
One crazy thing is that I was using a blade from the Italeri kit as a curve pattern, and the HB blades are a good 1/4" shorter.

Tail rotor also, but I may cheat a little and just reverse the shaft. I will report soon!

Also need info on any floats that were on “King Pin II”.
I was building my HB Chacktaw and the paint didn’t want to cure so well (a bit wet and cold here) so I decided to cheat a bit and put in into the very slightly warmed up oven like I have dome before without hassles.
When I wanted to start fuse assembly, I saw that the right side of the fuse was bent like a banana and totally unfixable 
I will have to get another one at some stage.
Strange that the quality /detail of the Chocktaw is not nearly as good as on the HB MiL 24 V.

The Italeri kit is a much better kit than the HB one. Besides the main rotor being correct, it has more features.
I am now busy with the 1/72 Italeri S-55 (H-19b) Chicasaw and I must agree that the quality of it is way better than the HB.

I tried rebending them the opposite way but snapped two of the rotors , I ended up using some Italeri rotors instead as I have a huge fleet of H-34 kits and I was already combining a H-34 fuselage with a HU-5 Wessex nose section to build some HAR / HC-2 Wessex as those versions had the same square fuselage cabin windows as the Sikorsky H-34 . This ment I had two sets of rotors spare for two HB H-34 builds .
As far as wheel floats on King Pin II , the few reference pic’s I have don’t show any whell floats fitted .
I did buy from lindenhillimports.com the Whirlybird S-58 Sabena conversion set for the Italeri H-34
It’s a little pricey but I really like the H-34 (S-58) series helicopter , so I didn’t hesitate buying one . There’s also a New York Airways version but they had already sold out . I have some Sabena decals for a Italeri H-19 and a Airfix Bristol Mk.32 Superfreighter kit with Sabena markings , so all three will go nicely with each other . The Whirlybird resin conversion kit does include some nice wheel floats and canisters
Hopfully I can mke copies somehow for other H-34 builds like the U.S. Army and USMC VIP birds.

Anyone notice that some of the Italieri kits numbered 1066 1/72 UH-34J had instructions and kit parts for a UH-34D?
One thing I noticed while looking over the decal sheet from Max Decals that includes King Pin II was that the helos seem to have an external fuel tank, so I found a good photo of one. I plan on scratchbuilding one for the helo I’m currently doing (same one, King Pin II).
