Animal is our resident gun truck expert, he’ll pop in when he sees your topic.
Hello gdarwin, the AFV Club kit is well worth the money and to build. There are a few things you would have to do to make it look as the original did back in 1968. If you go to my webshots web page you can see an example that I did of this kit. I made all the corrections to the kit with scratch built and home cast resin parts. http://community.webshots.com/album/84428396RasaFq I will be happy to help you out in your build if you like.
Just knew that as soon as Animal saw the title “Gun Trucks”, his heart went pitter patter and he rushed to click on this topic. [;)][;)][;)]
You think you know me don’t you. (pant , pant ,pant) Remember a sherman tank is nothing but a big round truck with big feet!
[:D] thanks guys, animal, i will take you up on the offer to help.as i can use only one hand i will need help[8D]
thanks again ,.roy
Big feet … LMAO [:D][:D][:D]
I sent you a e-mail and am standing by to help you out any way I can. You can’t have enough gun truck builders out there.
I’ll second Animal’s comment that the AFV’s M35A1 is well worth your money. It’s a very well looking kit. Take a look at a few sample pics here :

The weathering is very good on your example. The stars are a little high on the door armor and the hood star is on backwards. Other than that it is a great looking model. I also noticed that the tire pressure markings on the cargo bed are also in the wrong place. They should be on the lowerer rails of the cargo bed just above the tires. http://www.armorama.com/modules/photopost/data/12306/1742nancyjpg.jpghttp://groups.msn.com/isapi/fetch.dll?action=MyPhotos_GetPubPhoto&PhotoID=nHAAAAEoHAWOJ2o9rCpo3EUQRGcIPwzbp9*hnIz8UWl0XDPci9ezaZCPY18Vkn!ZB
