First of all, I am planning to make this GB annual, maybe I’ll open it to all the other nations as well.
I had the idea of hosting a group build for carrier based planes because I (and a lot of other people) like the look of naval aircraft. There’s just something about them that makes them look “different” IMO. I also heard that there was no GB with a similar theme in the last few years, so I decided to just go for it.
The basic rules are very simple:
You can build any model you want as long as it is a plane of a carrier-based design (the particular aircraft doesn’t have to be stationed on a carrier). Your aircraft of choice must be a machine of the USN or USMC.
Already started kits are fine up to the point where the fuselage is glued together.
