I enjoy group builds, and I try to fit all my builds into one since it keeps me motivated. That said, I have some kits that don’t fit so well, and I was thinking of doing a build with some of the more random subjects.
Examples from my stash - Bf-108 Taifun, A Polish Lublin seaplane, an Italian postwar biplane trainer.
Other things that could fit - an aircraft in captured colors (a USAAF Fw-190 or a Luftwaffe P-51, for example), any experimental vehicles (Bell X-1, Maus tank), random one-offs, or any historical oddity.
Or maybe Oddball’s Sherman from the movie Kelly’s Heroes?
Anyone have any interest in this? I would think it would be best to start around November or even the new year.
My other idea is just a blanket Messerchmitt build that starts once the 2015 Bf-109 build ends.
Also, my graphics skills are awful, so if anyone is good at badges and wants to help out…?

oddball stuff eh? let’s see. i have some Sino-Japanese barbette battleships and armored cruisers, DORA RR gun, luft '46 stuff, atomic cannon, soviet and german pre war multi-turret tanks, BTTF deloreon w/ railroad tracks, armored train stuff, and dinosaurs, weird enough?
Ok, well I have so far just tossed this idea out in here, but I think I’ll post it in the other forums and see if it gains traction with tanks, cars and ships. I think it would be fun, and I am thinking it should start in January 2016 to give everyone time to finish up their current builds and get through the holidays.
Man, sounds like something to motivate me as well. I have a Ta-152 R14, which is a long nose Fw190 that has a bomber engine installed for high altitude interception of bombers. It never saw any real action because it came too late in the war. Only about 100 were said to have been built.
Here’s the twist. I’m so tied up in my archery hunting right now till the end of November that I may not finish my two remaining GB’s. Gonna try though. So, If you wait till the new year, I’m in if you find this kit acceptable.
