Groovy flick with nice big Jugs...

This is a groovy bit of footage showing the 377th FS in action over Europe.

Nothing new, really, but this is the first time I’ve come across it on the net. Looks to be a new production from what’s been available in the past, with a bit of warbird footage mixed in. But it’s mostly period film.

Also, it’s a fairly large file at 26MB. Dial-up users beware…

I’ll download this when I get home from work tonight, thanks Steve.

Very nice. It’s too bad Kalamazoo’s fleet has been grounded… Insurance was too much.

That is AWESOME! Some of the best WWII color footage I’ve seen in a long time. The super-imposed modern footage is of “Tar Heel Hal” that is around on the US warbird circuit.

It is pretty cool stuff, isn’t it?

After watching again a bit more attentatively I notice that there’s several units represented in the film, from both the ETO and the MTO. I’m really diggin’ the gun camera stuff, especially the air to air, and the shots toward the end which show some burning Ju 88s on the ground.

This is not what I thought it was at first glance…
