I’m getting back into model building after 27-ish years. Last model started and never finished in high school as I didn’t have the tools or resources to finish it (a 1/32 F-16) “properly.” Now that I have the time and money for the tools the desire to build has come back with a vengeance. A lot has changed since the late 80s! Expect to see me here, a lot.
No problem. Anytime you need any help just ask. The guys and gals on here are ready, willing and able to help with any questions/problems that you might have.
Welcome, BigDog. I lived for 17 years in St. Louis. Worked at Mac, built mostly RC, but occasional shelf scale model. In 83 I moved to Minnesota. Weather not so good for flying models, so left RC and only build static scale models now. I do kind of miss the sound of the heavy iron flying from STL. I lived in Florissant, but could clearly hear the stuff, especially the F-4s, departing. Boy, those things were noisy.
Welcome to the forums Big Dog! Yep, a lot has changed so be prepared to have an information overload on new stuff. And it’s wonderful! Be sure to post some pics of your builds!
