Testors still has a zinc chromate in the small bottles, but it is the yellow chromate. No green chromate any more. I prefer lacquers or enamels, but will use an acrylic if I have to. Any suggestions on a green zinc chromate?
I’ve used True North paints twice - anti fouling red and international orange. Both with great success. I have their yellow zinc chromate but haven’t tried it. They have a green zinc chromate here. Nice line of paints, may invest more:

For a lacquer, this is what I’m using for green zinc chromate.

I’ve been using Mission Models’ green zinc chromate, but it is an acrylic paint.
Humbrol have cockpit green 78 or if you have there paints this chart might be helpful for mixing the old Humbrol 151.

SMS have a few green lacquers that look close.
You can always do like the real folks did, and add some flat black to the yellow zinc chromate to get the green shade that you prefer.
Thanks, guys. Some great alternatives there.
I never realized black would change the yellow to green- I had been thinking of adding some dark green.
