This is one of the most comprehensive sights I’ve ever seen about the units of the 8th air force “little friends”. Especially the aritcle “ramrod to munster”, that article had me suspended in time. I was mesmorized by the story.

I was in london a few years ago, on the way to glasgow and then to fort william. You see I’m scottish. With my grandfather’s name of Reed and my grandmother’s name of Clark, fort william is my old home place. We’re part of Clan Cameron. Little friends is, indeed, the online resource for 8th AF fighter groups. Another excellent site is Web-Birds. There’s more than just 8th AF stuff to be found there, but the 8th AF section is quite extensive…
And no need to worry if it is ‘old news’… although some folks may have seen that site, there’s bound to be many more who haven’t…
