Great News for 1/72 scale WW2 fans

Just got back from the LHS and brought home a couple of the just released Tamiya 1/72 P-47D Razor Back kits. Part of their “Honey I Shrunk The Kits” releases. Doesn’t have all the detail included in the 1/48 version, like the dropped flap option, but is very, very nice. Totally blows away the old Hasegawa and newer Academy 1/72 kits. With this release and the great Academy 1/72 P-38, I can get back to filling the many holes in my Aces of the Eighth collection.

My wallet will bet getting thinner. Tamiya needs to keep this up.

I’d like them to scale down their mig-15. We desperately need a good mig-15 in 1/72.

Yes, yes more 1/72 migs. I love Migs n 1/72. I have 3 unbuilt and want more!!

I have a unique “Mig” in red and white. I’m not sure what scale “Migsy” the cat is. Right now he is about half the size of his grandpa, George Michael I. George Michael II or George"Georgi “or"Migsy” Miguel looks like his granpa and thus is named for grandpa. I didn’t realize my red/white monster was a MIG till I had to think about what to call him to avoid confusion. George or Georgi is George Michael I. Mike, Mikey, or Michael is Michael David, George’s son and Migsy’s uncle. Georgito (“Little George” or Georgie for the non spanish speakers) led to “Jorge Miguel”.

Cha-ching! That’s the sound of the register signifying the reductioin of the contents of my wallet by at least the cost of a dozen of those l’il rascals and a couple of the Academy P-38’s previously memtioned. Can’t wait to finish them all.

You Mig 15 fans are in for a treat… Edward is releasing a new line of Mig15s this year.
If they are anywhere as good as their LA 7 and WW 1 kits it should be great…
If you sand off the rivet details on the Dragon Mig 15 that kit is okay too. I hope the EDuard kit is not the Dragon kit or PM kit reboxed…

I suppose it’s too much to ask for a decent La-15? I thought so… Need a Mig 19 too… and some decent earlier suchoi’s
