O.K. Maybe not. Some people are really nuts. Old Tamiya M551 Sheridan for $115. Sad thing is, somone will probably pay that much for it thinking it is some collector’s item or something.
I hope it also comes with $100 in cash hidden in it. I’ll wait for the Academy.
The person I feel for is the person who paid $60 for the Dragon Sherman Early and then GM got them in 3 days later for $25.
Ted, I have a few deals you might want to take advantage of, then. I can ship them tomorrow, after I shovel them off the lawn. Did I mention my Golden Retrieve is a large dog?
Wow, a 1/35 Cleveland Steamer. Once built, I wonder how many “Good Job” or “Really Nice Build” I would get on the forums. Jason, Please send me a whole case. I will sell the rest on Ebay as well.
Ooooh, such a deal. Probably charge you $25 shipping on top of it!
Hey, I’ve got a Tamiya King Tiger that’s motorized. It’s not quite in virgin shape, I’m afraid, but someone could scrape all the practice zimm off the turret, and there are only a “few” pieces missing. Maybe I could get $100 for it (with $40 shipping, of course!!)
OMG, a $115 for this kit? Only an insane person would spend that much money for this kit. I would’nt spend $60 for the AFV Late Tiger I that was on Ebay a couple of weeks ago and I certainly wouldn’t spend more than $15 for this kit. Academy, relase the Sheridan now!
As an older Tamiya kit, hat might indeed be a collector’s item, but even then I’ve never seen even the original issue Sheridan go for more than $50 USD. That’s here in Japan, of course. Might be worth more overseas.
For the modeller who just wants to build a Sheridan, Tamiya often pumps out a batch of older kits. As I recall, there were “new” Tamiya Sheridans on the shelves just last year, selling for less than $20 USD.
I will sell the car, and buy the tank
what can be better? oh…1/35 scale…darn
I could always buy a Ferret Reconnaisance vehicle!
drive that to school! AHHAHA
take it out paintballing, i could take them all down
