Gov't Report: Styrene Contact Should Be Avoided

I always get a kick out of the little white circular labels attached to my bottles of lacquer-based metalizer paints that says “Warning: This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.” Nothing about the fumes or the need for proper ventilation, only the warning about birth defects.

Good to hear that “the State of California” is so worried about my health. Next, they will be trying to balance my checkbook.
