Got an airbrush for Christmas

The family gave me an Aktek 4709 (Testors) set. Anyone used this model? They’re fine with me returning it for a different one.

I had an Aztek years ago, but had some problems. It’s not bad, takes some getting used to. I tended to spill paint out of the cup. I admit that I prefer Badgers myself.

That’s the same model I use for all of my airbrush work. I absolutely love it and have all the available nozzles for it beyond what is provided in the standard box set. Like any tool it requires some getting used to but the way the double action works is very smooth IMHO and the fact that it can do either gravity or siphon feed is a big plus. Watch the little DVD instructions that come with it, play with the adjustable needle wheel and you’ll be amazed at how versatile it can be. [;)]

Bill covered it all there, I too used theh Aztek for a long time, at theh very least its easy to clean and no trouble or worries about bending needles.

Merry -Xmas.

Terry.

I got the Paasche single-action H airbrush set, an airbrush cleaning station and a “deluxe airbrush station”…and a bunch of non-model related stuff.

I’m planning to hit Hobby Lobby tomorrow and see if there’s anything good left.

…Yeah I got something like the above (don’t have it with me but it’s a paasche, I also got a compressor, I came with a nailgun and is not intended for hobby purposes, but works.
