I recently picked up a perimeter action star ship from star ship modeler. It is a simple three piece resin cast kit. I have decided to build not one, but two ships out of it. I have several polar lights kits left over from the ten odd ones I have built this year. So I am building one as stated in the kit, and one scratch following the basic model design. Anyone wanna see it as I build it, or you bored to death with the polar lights kit, kitbash stuff on the market?
I am… I already have the primary hull, and secondary hull spike together. have green putty on the seams. letting it set up for the night. need to go to bed anyway. the next time i am allowed to build will be next week or so. i should post some of it this week , maybe wednesday
I think straight black might be too dark, and obscure a lot of detail. What about scale black, or even a medium/dark grey with light grey markings, like a stealth bomber? That could be cool.
Way ahead of you, went to hobby shop and looked at dark panzer gray, but I will not do anything until I talk to JT Graphics about gray or white decals.
