Goose is almost done. Next she gets basted with Future then some Alaskan Airlines markings can be placed.
Propellers will be added after all washes and weathering has been completed.

Beautiful looking Goose you got coming along swanny. [:D][:D] Cant wait to see it when its done!!!
I’m really getting hungry for the final serving. Great looking work so far.
Awesome work Swanny! [8D] As soon as I saw the Alaska Airline decals I started hearing that little voice inside my head saying, “You need that kit. Buy it…soon.” [:P]
How is it? I’m fairly new and still making mistakes; would you rate it as a somewhat easy build? and do you think it is worth the price? (I saw around $40 for 1/48)
Thanks,
Leon
Swanny,
Very nice. If I remember right Grumman did a series of aircraft with the same basic configuration, but each being larger than the others. The Goose, the Gander, and the Albatross, are the three I remember. Did you happen to come accross any others in your research of the Goose, or are there just the three? (The Duck is a different platform) rangerj
just beautiful.

Rangerj, I think there is one called a Mallard also.
Newtothegame, It’s a little more than $40 but if you can find one for that price I would suggest buying it. I think it was worth the price. There is a complete review of the kit and the construction on my site.
and to the rest of you guys - thanks for the positive comments. These models are like children growing up - the closer you get to the end the faster they seem to progress. Fortunately they don’t talk back or ask for college tuition.
Hey Swanny;
that Trophy Goose will look good on my mantel, just kidding, looks awsome keep them coming, I’m getting jealous
