Guess the thread about B’mans banishment has also been deleted - I went back ten pages looking for it. Just sayin’ that I have enjoyed and learned from his posts over the past few years, and that I’m sorry that he’s no longer in the FSM forums. I’ll look for him in other forums, where the admins aren’t so easily offended (I didn’t see the over-the-top image, but if aircraft models with Sexy Lancs decal are OK, then how far out is too far?)

I’ve seen it too many times on these forums - it’s capitalism at it’s worst. Let’s keep these forums children-friendly to make more money! Boy how things go to hell when I fail to login or check this site out for a while. I had no idea that Bondoman was bannished. From the comments I’ve read, it sounds like the Taliban have taken over here. Well, back to outlands where I find true freedom.
I don’t what happened here, but sorry to hear about this censorship. It seems the humor we used to enjoy is now totally lacking. We’re big boys here, should be able to have a little fun within reason.
What are some of the other forums around? Ive been primarily a Finescale forum member as I never really felt the need to go elsewhere. If theres going to be unconditional banishments, I think I may want to start exploring other outlets for my modeling. Whatever happened to progressive discipline? Ban someone for a first offense? Sounds like where I work, and it`s wrong IMO.

I saw some posts the other day from another handle he had made, but as I refreshed to check different threads I noticed they too were one by one disappearing. If he was banned for nose art then the mods have really gone nuts. Hopefully, if he was a subscriber he called and canceled his subscription and made it a point to tell them why. I guarantee that there aren’t very many kids frequenting this forum with all the good ole boy we pretty much ignore you if you aren’t in the 3000+ post count territory shenanigans going on. They don’t have the patience to “build cred.”
In FSM’s defense I asked the Mods specificly about nude nose art. The post that Bondo was axed over was not a nude nose art. I had concerns because I have one of that sort just finished which I was about to post, and one several more on my to do soon list. I spoke with Bondo directly and while the photo he posted was a nude and not nose art he did not think that it was offensive or out of line. But we all have different values regarding this stuff.
Hmm. I assumed it was nose art after some of the rumblings I read here and in other posts. The rules are the rules I guess and you have to play by them. I had read the threads in the welcome section when I signed up. I too was going to specifically ask about nose art as I may be using some on an upcoming project.
