Looking at making a nice teak or mahogany base for a 350 Burke but wanted to see if there were any good pre-made options. I like the idea of using the small wooden wedges to mount the ship on. Like most things I suppose I could find the wood and make the base and cover but in the end it probably more cost effective to just buy one.

I second the motion for Grandpa’s Cabinets - he will make exactly what you want, and it will be quality stuff. Especially for odd- or oversized displays, he is my go-to guy for cabinets, and his costs are very reasonable.
Where can one go to find plans to make your own display case, rather than have it made for a price ?
