As you know I am the two term president of the New Braunfels,Tx. Train Museum. And of course the New Braunfels Model RailRoad Historical Society; Any way, to make a long story short. We had the first day of our April Train Show yesterday.
For those of you who do model Trains as a Hobby along with other models. I personally would like to Thank You for your support. This was a breath of fresh Air for the Museum. Very tired and surely beat, I returned Home with good numbers from Entry sales, Coupon use and overall good Vibes from the gate.
Masking requests were used and complied with. This was is some cases an improvement, Some of us are not Photo models for the handsomest person of the year,LOL.LOL. Really we are so happy you could join us and the Children were exctatic that they were getting to see Choo-Choo,s this spring.
My hat is off. To the Gatekeepers/ Greeters. The Club Table Staff, and the Visitors who seemed happy to see us. We were certainly glad to see them. I know this should be in the Kalmbach Model Rail Books But, I subscribe to neither. Why? No room for a layout, so I do mine as an extension of the Museum relationship.

today. besides the Gate numbers exceeding what we expected the vendors in some cases were leaving with less than a Quarter than what they brought. A happy bunch indeed! Nothing but Positive reaction to the show, and with VOLUNTARY masking requirements. It was outstanding and get this. NO ONE, chose to go without a Mask during their visits. So it was a Win-Win for everyone!
