Well, the fourms are those really annoying type where there is no sub sections. But it look on first glance to have many articles, i’m to tired right now to see how detailed they are.
I use that site all the time. It has some of the most comprehensive articles you’ll find on some very detailed subjects. Pages on the various colors and reasons for the types of ZC used in American aircraft, detailed studies on particular aircraft.
The one thing I don’t like is sometimes you really have to search to unearth all it’s treasures. I’ve done searches on their site, and found some cool stuff. Then a Google search would turn up exactly what I wanted- on their site, but not in their results.
But it’s great.
ipms Stockholm have one of the most useful ipms site I’ve ever seen for reference and some very knowledgeable folks on their forums.
I don’t know if ipms Stockholm had anything to do with it, but I’ve been frequently visiting this Swedish based Hawker Tempest site for reference on the 1/72 Special Hobby Tempest II I’ve been working at off and on:
After seeing it, I didn’t bother looking further for research info.
