Does anyone know of any gook plastic figure painting books or better yet, DVDs?
For the most part, these deal with resin or metal kits, but the skill set is the same.

Check out Amazing Figure Modeler Magazine. They tend to do monster/fantasy type figures rather than historical but the techniques are very similar.

Lots of back issues on ebay for pretty cheap.
They also sell 2 painting DVD’s, They seem to be pretty popular but I cannot personally vouch for them.
If you like AFM you might also check out Modelers Resource and Kitbuilders. Both of these have ceased publication but are all over ebay.
