Has anyone ordered from these guys? How was the service, etc?

I’ve ordered from them quite a few times. Mostly model ship stuff. I’ve had very little trouble. Watch the # in stock of the item. I ordered a kit once that was down to the last few and didn’t get it. They never debited my credit card, so there was no problem there. Shipping is by UPS ground, so takes about a week or so to get to me. They send (e-mail) you a UPS tracking number so you can watch it’s progress. You can either order online or call them.

Note that I did not intend for this to be an advertisment for Model Expo. I was just passing along a good deal I found.

I took a look at the site, and suffice to say, they have a VERY limited amount of items as far as plastic kits other than ships go.

Make sure you do a search on Tiger or Panther or whatever you’re looking for rather than Tamiya or hit the Plastic Models link. Their search engine is kind of funkey!

OMGthey have a Tamiya Dragon Wagon for 67 bucks. man o man I want to get this sooooooooooooooooooo bad. to have 2 DW to build would be great. they only have one. plz no one get this I plan on getting it tommorow.

[banghead] I’ve tried 2 different browsers (Safari and IE) and they won’t let me checkout because of security reasons. I have to wait until Monday at 9 to call and I know someone is gonna beat me to it. [8]

What are you ordering Bill? I’m thinking of getting the Abrams, should have a long time ago. There were two other kits I’m pondering.

Well, I called them yesterday and got the Tiger I Initial on order, but they told me that since the computer was only showing one copy in stock, they couldn’t guarantee I’d get it. Right after I got off the phone with them, it went to “Out of Stock” on the site. But I’m still not showing an order status on it for me. So, did I get it or not?? Time will tell! I hope all of you got what you wanted!
