Just one last post. I have left the hobby. Already sold off my unbuilt kits. Sold off all my 1/35th built trains. NOT offering anything for sale here as it is against forum policy, but all I have left now are small things, and tools, dio making stuff, resin and mold making material, paint and my airbrush and compressor. It has already paid for a New computer (I build 'em) $400- in graphic cards alone [:D]
Anyway I know I have not posted in awhile, kept in touch with a few of you through PM’s But I just wanted to say Thanks to everyone who has helped me throughout the years and to say good bye to all.
its sad to say goodbye to a forum member, but i hope you do well in your next stage of life. i know computers are a world unto their own! take care and good luck[Y]
well MarkDunck don’t know you. but always sorry to read where someone bails on any hobby. just know this if your in your 20sto30s you’ll be back. if your in your 40sto50s you’ll be back. and if your 60 and over YOU’LL be back. [:D] i’ve trashed everthing twice and had to come back. girls, booze, drugs, giving a hip to the Army i always had my hobby. good luck. hope to GOD it’s not an illness. good luck again.
Sorry to see you go. May you have the best of luck with your future endeavors. Should you, at some point down the road, wish to come back, we will leave a light on.
Hey Mark just cause you have stopped building doesn’t mean you cant stop in and say hi now and then[;)]. Like Clay says you never really give it up you just give it a rest now and then.
I totally understand. I built models in the '60s and stopped(sex, drugs and rock-n-roll). I was amazed at the improvements when I came back to the hobby in 1990. Now , I’m really burnt out because I don’t have the time or talent to produce models the are much better that what I’m doing now.
I haven’t done anything since last year and every time I get an inspiration I find a great reason not to buy/build a model.
Question…How’s the best way to sell off those unbuilt kits???
