Going to a specific page in a LONG post?

Does anyone know how to find a specific page in a long post? When you go to the post, you can pick page 1,2,3,4,5,… last. If there is, say, 90 pages, and you know you want to go to page 45, how do you get there w/o picking page 5, then 7, then, 9… and so on and so on.

Just keep hitting the “next” largest number–“9” will bring up another grouping to like, say page 16, and then hit that, and it will load and bring up more page numbers to say, 22, hit that, rinse, repeat, etc…

There’s no other easy way![sigh]

Thanks TD, that’s what I was afraid of. [sigh]

TD= “The Doog” [;)]

HA HA! Yeah I realized that right after I hit the “post” button! [:-^][(-D] Sorry, Daywalker–I just woke up and my motor is still cold! LOL![(-D]

LOL, no worries! (Laugh Out Loud) [:D] J/K my friend!

Actually, there is an easier way…

For example, we’ll use the URL of the Kursk GB thread (since it’s plenty long and I’m always trying to find one thing or another in it)

/forums/76/852166/ShowPost.aspx#852166

The bold text is the page number. Change that, and it’ll take you to wherever you want much faster.

That’s EXACTLY what I was looking for! Thanks a ton Hermesminiatures! [:D]

I don’t suppose pulling over and asking for directions is an option, is it? Just a thought…[:-^]
