What type (brand) do you gentlemen use. It will make a big difference in my end results.
It depends on what I’m working on. I use Testors for g.p. But I use Elmers for clear parts. And if I need strength I use Tenax. I hope this helps you out. My best advice is to use the one that you are most comfortable with!

Solvent cement: SC-125 (This is methylene chloride, as is Tenax.) Occasionally MEK or Plastruct.
Photo-etched and resin parts, strength: cyanoacrylate, usually generic Zap-a-gap)
Very high strength, photo-etch, resin, dissimilar materials: five minute and fifteen minute epoxy.
clear parts: various white glues, especially Micro Krystal Klear and Sobo, Future.
