Do anyone know of any glue that i can use with my platic model that will bond even if the parts are painted?
I have not really had to much problem with CA glue and I am real bad about not scrapping paint before glueing.

I’m just as guilty about not scraping paint but the CA seems to bond just fine.
However, CA glue doesn’t work well with Tamiya Sprays or Krylon Sprays, it seems to disolve the paint when the parts are first stuck together. It will eventually dry and it will hold just as well but it takes it a few minutes to set instead of a few seconds.
I use Tamiya acrylics and it don’t seem to mess with the paint for the most part. On the rare occasion I have noticed it hazeing the paint but only a few times. Nothing a quick touch up did’nt fix.
Yeah, I haven’t had problems between the acrylics and CA either. The only problems I’ve had are with the Tamiya Spray Lacquer rattle cans (TS-##'s) and CA.
