What do you all use for those great gloss finishes?
With laquer i can buff it out but with enamel i cant get it shiny without small bumps ,smaller then orange peel
I have tried future and get lots of small grainy things in the finish
I have tried krylon crystal clear and duplicolor sprary clear and both have small dust or something in it
What else is left
i’ve had some recent luck with krylons fusion… give it a try[tup][tup]
What ever I’ve tried I always find that a polish brings it up better, ie removes any small imperfections
Testors Gloss Coat seems to work well for me.
The real trick is using a polishing kit. That will almost guarentee a smooth glossy finish.

Ok, What kind of polish ? Reg car polish
What are some examples
Thnks
A polishing kit is a series of clothes with fine grit on them, from 1800 to 12,000 grit. You can wet sand or dry sand with them, I find wet sanding easier, after going through the clothes, I do a final polish with Novus #2 polish. Both should be available at a well stocked hobby shop, or Micro mark carries both, their website is www.micromark.com
Hope this helps.
