Hi my name is Steve, I’ve picked up the hobby again after a 30 year hiatus. I especially like to model 1:35 Armor. Finished projects (yes, fully done with figures under a dust cover and on display) include a Tiger I, Steyr 1500 truck and Sherman Tank/ Willy’s Jeep diorama. I’m 90% done with a Panzer IV F2. Waiting in the wings is a StuG III and the “grand daddy big dog” of them all, a German FAMO with trailer. I hope to combine the StuG and FAMO, like the box shows, into a diorama. Im considering a winter scene.
With each new model I like to try something new and different. I have a natural ability with painting (my dad was an airbrush artist) and I’m good at model building (I’m an Architect), so modeling is a great combo for me and a good distracton from the stresses of work.
I haven’t figured out how to post pictures yet but when I do I’d love to share my work and exchange ideas.

I read what you suggested from Bgrigg but I can’t get to the image upload part. I enabled the avatar setting but I have no idea who or what an administartor or URL are. Help!!! My images are in a photobucket as suggested but I can’t get them to my profile.
There will be a big, red button right in the middle of your screen when you go to that website that says “Join Now”. Click it, and set up your login and screen name. You had to do something similar to set up your login and password to access these forums…
