I know I’ve missed a bunch of good stuff over the last four months, but now it’s time to catch up. I’ve been in intimate contact with the USS Newport News’ reactor and have finally come up for air. If anyone has any questions concerning a stripped down SSN, now is the time to ask. It’s still fresh in my head and I don’t think I’ll be able to get the smell off of me for a few weeks. Boy, am I glad that it is over!
Welcome back. I was in Hampton Roads back in April, but I doubt our paths crossed. Now I’m back on the Left Coast.
Welcome back… Now I know I’m gettin old when the 688s are getting canned. The 688 was in the big shop at EB when I got out in 74 and she is still active. But several have been broke up in the past 10 years.
I have a piece of FY 80 Steel from the Parche getting mailed to me from a friend in Bremerton after her breakup is compleated.
I will find a sacred place among my “stuff” for it to reside.[:D][:D]
I meant to type in HY 80 steel not FY 80… It’s June and FY ( fiscal Year) is still very present on my mind due to work related not hobby related issues. Phew…Come to think of it I had a FY 80 Ford F-150 years ago LOL.
Now where’s my coffee?
