Hello All! I’ve been away from modeling for several years, (as the kids were growing up), and recently retired and moved and getting back into it full steam. Got my model room set up and working on a couple projects from years ago that I never finished, but here is my questions which might seem kind of silly, but from what I can tell Revell and Monogram have merged? And Microscale used to be big for me for decals but do all they do now is Railroad decals? I recently picked up decals from twobobs and they look terrific! Just does’nt seem like a big market now for 1/48 F-105’s of which I am working on now.
Model mostly in 48th but will venture out if something appeals to me.
Thanks all for your replies and find thid forum very useful!
First off, welcome back.[#welcome][#welcome] You will find the folks here very helpful.
Yes, Revell and Monogram have merged. As for Microscale, I am not sure. Just getting back into the hobby recently myself.
Look forward to seeing your F-105 Thud when it is done.

Aircraft decals are now Super Scale, formerly Micro Scale. There are a lot of good decal companies around now. Check the on line catalogues at Squadron, Great Models, or Roll Models and yuo might find more ofwhat you want. And welcome back.
Welcome to the FSM Forums & welcome back to the hobby [#welcome]. Yep, Revell & Monogram merged, actually Revell bought Monogram. Microscale no longer markets military decals under their name, but they still produce decals for other manufacturers. Lots of big names in AM decals these days, Aeromaster, Eagle Strike, Cutting Edge, Two Bobs, just to name a few. The Monogram F-105 is now a very old kit, but still has some support.
