Wow, new to modeling, at least since the mid to late 50’s. Built a Revell “ESSEX” as a teenager, then served on the #9 “The Oldest And The Boldest” from 1961 to 1963. My son recently found a vintage (polite for old) Revell kit unbuilt and I am happily back in to ship model building. Got my subscription to “Finescale Modeling” to bring me up to date on methods etc. Boy have things changed since the 50"s. I spent some time today on “forums”, and I would like to commend the modelers that participate. The info I have gleaned has helped immensly in setting up shop and learning the new methods and products such as photo etch and paints. Thanks to everyone. EJ
