I still need to mask off and prime, repaint the seems and the cockpit is masked and ready to go…I put in the main rotor just for the pic. With any Luck I hope to be putting on the decals by this weekend!
Troy,
Looking good man! Can’t wait to see the finished project. Also glad to hear the confirmation (about being married) about the ‘fru fru’ bed! HA!!!
Paul
Forgot to mention that this is the helo that will be the USCG rescue chopper.
About the bed?..I can’t complain…
The Kids and I have Models on some of the livingroom shelves, in the curio cabinet and I have three shelves of kits in the master bedroom.
We were at a friends place last week to show off projects and watch a flick, pizza you know…fun stuff!
anyway!
His wife has TOTAL CONTROL of the whole house!!..he gets this little space of what use to be a garage. Were talken about a guy is going to have a project on the cover of MODELERS RESOURCE magazine in May…wins FIRST place in the diorama catagory EVERY YEAR at Wonderfest and locally…So to put up with that scene?..and!.. I’m pretty sure he is the bread winner in that household…something very wrong here me thinks! [?]
Tonight I paint!..Rats!..I just realized that it will be probably Sunday till I can mask for the red stripes…oh well…
I’m using the Testors BOYDS classic white and I like the way it goes on and I was very surprised on how fast it dries…with a gloss paint I was ready to give it at least five days till I could handle the thing but it was completly tack free after two!..and that was with a few good heavy coats!
Yeah… the Coast Guard Colors are really going to bring that project to life!! Looking Great!!
Whether your friend is secretively frustrated, openly complaining, or completely oblivious to a problem, it has always been my experience that it is much better to live and let live, when it comes to someone elses (another couple’s) way of doing things. In an effort to support one, they’ll BOTH turn on you! [:0]
