I have a question for the Luftwaffe modelers. I am putting the decals on my Ju-88G-10 . Was there a reason for the color and style of markings? Should the Swastika have a white border, or could it? Can the black outline crosses be mixed with the white outline crosses? I have a feeling that I will have to lift the crosses and replace them on the upper wings. But, I want to be sure. Thoughts and opinions appreciated.

Maybe this reply is too late, but… well… If your model is a Ju-88G-10, it must have a night fighter cammo: All over RLM 76 with RLM 75 squiggle or mottles in the upper sides… I’ve seen in many drawings that these color schemes had a solid black swastika… without a black boarder… hope this helps
Thank you zeroenna. The cammo is 76/75 mottle. But I have the wrong swastika on the fin. Its black with white border. Some have a solid swastika, some have the outline, black or white, or grey. Crosses are the same. Its enough to drive a person nutty![:)]

And here’s one with a white border

There are a few pages of Ju88b pics here:

Hope this helps.
If you want to find out what the colors and codes on Luftwaffe aircraft mean, try one of these sites:

http://www.ww2.dk/
http://www.warbirdsresourcegroup.org/LRG/
In the first listed site, go to Archive
In the second, go to Miscellaneous
in the third, got to bottom of page, select "German Aricraft Markings
Hope this helps a little
