german feild kitchen

never done this scale before but i hope you like it

and here is my german in the snow

and heres one of me at military show

Looks good, good compsition, nicely painted, well chosen figures.

Two things, both re: the groundwork.

First, it looks too flat, like they’re on the green at a golf course. Nature doesn’t provide sufaces that flat. Critters making tunnels, forst heaves, roots and more cause some unevenness to the ground. I always add at least a thin layer of celluclay to get a more organic look.

Second, the brick wall looks way out of place. There’s no debris and no indication of why it’s there. You might better fill that spoace with a tree trunk or rock from Armand Bayardi availiable in the diorama aids and groundwork section at (http://www.mi/)lminwh.com]Military Miniatures Warehouse

Also, be careful of mold seams. The guy stirring the pot looks like he ahas a big seam running through his hat and down the side of the apron.

Youve done a nice job painting the figures. I agree with AJ on the ground, and brick wall.

what scale do you usually model?

I agree with the others, BUT your modeling work is way past my skills so…[bow] [#toast]

Good job!! Looks good. I am looking forward to breaking out my Feldkuche too, but have to finish some other projects on the workbench first!! What scale do you normally work with?
