Looks good. May want to soften (blend) the edges of the sand path into the grass a bit. It looks to sharp and defined. Otherwise, looks really good.

Great start

Thad

Very good start. What did you use to build the structure?

thanks heavy after i took the pics i noticed that too
thanks king as it progresses i will post more pics
zokissima the structure is from verlinden-productions kit 114 heavy machine gun bunker the only thing i added was the rebar made out of paper clips which was a suggestion from this board and worked out great.

Looking good so far, Kenny.

Regards, Dan

I took them in Britany ( near Normandy )

Looks great! THe concrete turned ot really good.

thanks for the great comments all

rebel that was my first ever attempt at weathering a model usually eveything looks brand new on mine lol i used tamiyas flat whit and added medium gray till it was a very light grey. i sprayed the bunker let it dry for the night . the next day i watered down the medium grey and slopped it all over the bunker in small areas and wiped it off with a paper towel . i was pretty impressed with th results and i am glad you all like it

kenny

that looks great so far.

joe

thanks joe and kiowa i will try to update the pics as i go

thats looking good so far keep up the good work.

Looking great so far Kenny, I think you’re defintely on the right path with this dio, it’s very impressive. You might also think about adding some leftover equipment around the area to give it a ‘lived in’ feel…maybe some crates and stuff like that.

Keep up the good work! [tup]

thanks gunney

thanks wr

i have done a little more i have added a barbed wire fence to the dio still waiting on more static grass to arrive so i can finish the ground work. the rest which will be added is like you said wr some ammo cans wapons shells basic things . basically my idea is a abandon bunker and U.S. forces clearing it. i will be using tamiyas u.s .army assault team clearing the bunker
