German armor versus the Sherman

Guess? Dunkelgelb and Schwartzgrau rule!

Auchtung Panzer!!! No way could I give up the Kitties.

Interesting, most interesting.
With all the variety of German armor against the “plain ol’ Sherman”, my count has it 12-7.
I’m thinking the Sherman is holding it’s own pretty well. Not quite as well as I thought, but they may be a few more votes on the way.

German for me. I don’t like Shermans as much as I like other allied tanks. And german stuff covers such a huge spectrum of subjects, and variety never spoils the broth. No. A stitch at night saves the spices of life. Different stuff makes you less bored, anyhow.

Give me my Panzers every time! My very first armor model was the Revell
M4A1-E8 from the 50s,but I recovered quickly… Maybe if it was called the
“Longstreet” or the " Stonewall" I could appreciate it more???
I would build one, say if Trumpeter did 1in 1:16,but a steady diet??
Kinda like a Buffet Table with nothing but potato dishes .
I love the variety of shapes, sizes, colors w. German armor.

Ihave no idea what it means but there is a good site.

Panzers, panzers and more panzers.

yeah I might build a Sherman one day, but panzers are the best.

Sherman

(I need a torched Sherman in my upcoming diorama…LOL)

I got one readt to torch[:P] A jumbo to be exact.

German armor all the way, especially the PzKpfw 3 and 4 variants and the panther

German simply for the variety.

The Panzers all the way

Tiger II

Sherman------I’m a all American man ================================== Stephen

I’ve got 3 Shermans on my shelf, 1 on my workbench, and about 5 in various states of disrepair in my scrap box. I’m not quite ready to give up on 'em yet. Ask me again in 10 years.

Don’t know how exact my count is but it looks to be German 18, Sherman 10. I think that’s a pretty good showing against all that “variety” of German armor.

zimmerit, three-color camo., Panther, Tiger, Mark IV, Carius, Rommel, Blitzkrieg…My vote is for German
unless the Sherman is being driven by Ditka, or even a mini-Ditka
(obscure “Saturday Night Live” Reference for all of you).

I’ve got to go with German. You’ve placed a boat load of variety in the German armor against a one type of Allied armor. As an example, all Sherman suspensions fall within two major varieties and 3 or 4 subvarieties. Just about every German type had significantly different suspensions from any other type. I like the variety.

Gotta say German!
