Just got back as the fed ex guy has delivered Ill by starting in the next couple days in case anybody wants the order # its a 234/1 abd its aber #35A30 and eduard #35234. Your right smokinprice I went 250 miles to the hobbytown in Boise they had a couple decent tanks but about 5 detail kits and none for anything Id care to build. What are modelers chopped liver.
The way I see it panzermann If you can do the work over on the suspension system I owe it to myself to try.

Im in the middle of turning the t.c. into a dust cap for the battle system plug. The only fly in the ointment is the tail brake light shows, a tempermental attitude. I can live with it but all in all its done and quite the beauty. Ill get y nephew to get adresses for them and e-mail pics of tiger and pershing

See, See?!?!?!?! I told ya. I refuse to shop there anymore. I am on strike. Not that I think they will notice though. Last time I was there, I bought 2 jars of MM paint. My whopping 5 dollar and change purchase. The guy in front of me spent close to 600 dollars on a RC Truck. No chance for us modellers.

Just to let you know I got the Aber set for the swimmy Today only ordered it on Tuesday.[party][party]. I know we’re a small place but the L.H.S. owner tries to get what you need ASP now thats the way Model Shops should be! [soapbox] It’s only a small place but his store is wall to wall Plastic! Still havent got my 234 yet, it’s ordered though. Has anyone started yet? any progress pics?
I see that at my LHS too. Luckily we have on guy that works there that is plastic only and helps us lowly modelers out. [:D] The plastic customer is a slow and steady stream of cash for them. Big RC purchases aren’t as reliable. They know this.

Great! Not where I am though. No body works in that area nor understands me when I ask a question! I know I havent started yet. I apparently like to just buy kits and paint. Then I do the research for them. However, I never build. So sad. Too busy lately. Anyways, still waiting for the 234/3 and 234/4 to appear on my door step.

My 234/3 arrived today. Looks neat. All the parts are there. So…it promptly went into a cabinet to hide for a while from my wife!

Is the etched set from Aber if so they sell the whole turret assembly as a seperate item comes with screens,turret bins, the turret it’s self and the parts for the 2cm. mount and mg 42 incase no one realises the Italeri instructions are wrong yet again the 234/1 used the mg 42 and not the 34 as shown [soapbox].

which pe set did not have the screens in it ? i hope my does it looked like it did in the description pic
well ill see in the next 2 days hopefully
any tips for using pe for this will be the first time i use it when should it be added and painted type questions

It’s the set for the 234/1 and 140/1 as the turret is identical an both vehicles the set is from Aber. or you could go the poor mans way and get the Eduard set for the234/1 you don’t get the degree of finesse that you have with Aber though.
Hope that this has ben some help to all you bulding the 234/1 also if you check my previous post you’ll find out that the co-axil mg is wrong as it should be a mg 42 and not as Italeri have put into the kit a mg.34.
