I just purchased ZTZ 99A and I am impressed with it at first glance. Does anyone have any general comments about Hobby Boss armor or specific comments about this particular model?

I’ve got their LAV-150 and a few of their 1/48 Shermans and KVs. Very nice stuff, I believe they are just an arm of Trumpeter.
Like every company, they have some good and some bad kits. Some with decent accuracy and some with questionable accuracy. As for the ZTZ99A, watch the fit around the hull front, and the turret front. Those are the only areas I had any problems with on the kit. Also be sure to leave a slight gap between the track links as you glue them together, don’t fit them tightly to one another (there is a gap on the actual tracks).
