I just got onto this whole group build thing - Ive never really paid it much mind before. but when you started talking about Panzer Aces, I got interested.
One question - does this imply that you have to actually FINISH a model within the time limit? If so, Im in trouble [:D]
Yeah that is the general idea. But so far everyone is really nice and friendly around here so if oyu posted some finished pics after the end date I don’t think you have to worry aboutthe GB police coming to haul you away.[;)]
EDIT… You said Panzer Aces? “spring 2008” is vauge at best. Beginning if spring… end of spring[%-)] So you have 3 full seasons to get one done… now get crackin’
Like Marc said, that is the general idea. The idea of the deadline is to have everyone building at the same time so that you can share research and ideas and be motivated by the work of others. Having said that, modeling is a hobby and sometimes the more important aspects of life get in the way (or you over commit yourself to too many GB’s [:-^]) so if your late, no problem, no one is going to shun you or visit your house if you don’t make the deadline.
I dunno about that! I’ve noticed that some of the guys in a few of my GBs haven’t been around for some time! Coincidence?[swg]

Actually, I just saw the GB police hauling a guy outta the house yesterday with a tube of glue in one hand and a 95% done model in the other. [;)]
