Does anyone have pics to share of Gammon bomb damage to German tanks and other AFVs to share? I’ve got an idea for a Battle of Arhem diorama…
To the best of my knowledge (some one will correct this…) It was used by commandos, but I have not read any biogs or reference books with a specific reference to their use, your milage may vary though…

It was also a very popular weapon with the British Airborne troops at Arnhem and elsewhere. Just finished reading The Devil’s Birthday: the bridges to Arnhem, 1944, by Geoffrey Powell (which claimed to be the first “modern” British history of the battle since A Bridge Too Far), and it mentioned them several times.
