I have a little tidbit of information concerning the new 1:35 CH-47 Chinook. I received an e-mail from megahobby.com that says Panda will be doing several versions of this aircraft. Unfortunately, they didn’t specify which versions. But it seems that Panda will be making them. [:p] They don’t have a release date, yet. When/If I get more info, I will pass it on. I also asked them about the 1:32 B-17 that Panda is supposed to come out with, but there is no info right now. Just thought you might like to know.
1/35th CH-47??!! That is going to be one big kit. I can see a great opportunity to make one into a MH-47 from the 160th SOAR and having a SEAL small boat team coming out of the back.

If its true about Panda making a 1/32 B-17, for one it would be BIG and secondly does R/C sound good LOL…!!! (just a wacky thought)[:p]

I just recieved an e-mail from VLS. THey were told by Dragon that the 1/35 CH-47’s will be released in May. I don’t know the exact time. There are going to be 4 versions. Check out this link, it list them all. They are wrongly under the Academy title but they are all teh Panda models. There are a few other helicopters that they are coming out with.
Thanks for the info, Todd. That would be so cool if they did come out in May. [:)] I also like the selection that they’re using. Should make for some interesting dioramas.
