I would bet that the 190 in those pictures is now on display at the NASM Udvar Hazy Center and the Ju-88 is at the National Museum of the Air Force. Both were flown out of Germany by “Watson’s Wizards” for evaluation after the war.

The aircraft was being test flown by USAAF pilots. By guess is the plates were added for that purpose.
