FW190 F-8 Seat Belts

Does someone have a detailed photo or accurate drawing of the FW190 F-8 seat belts ? I’ve already researched this subject on several books and websites, but with no satisfactory results.

Thanks,

Nelson

Heck, just get one of the many cockpit detail sets from Verlinden, Eduard, CMK, Aires, etc, etc. They pretty much all have etched brass belts or resin replacements seats with belts molded in.

Excellent answer but, heck, I didn’t ask that ! Can’t today’s modelers live without the photoetched & resin aftermarket paraphernalia ? Seats with molded-in belts ? Real modelers scratchbuild the details !
Based on the lack of adequate answers, I suppose most models, including contest ones, are not accurate in this respect. Comments please.

Squadron/Signal Walk Around Number 22 “Focke-Wulf Fw-190 A/F” has a couple of photos of Fw-190- F seats and belt locations, as well as a lot of other useful photos for the detailer.

THANKS !

Well Nelson,
I suppose I just am not a real modeler.
Photo-etched and after market detail sets, as long they are economical ,are what I use from time to time. At other times molded in details are good enough for me.
I enjoy the hobby and fully realize my efforts will never grace the tables at an IPMS contest or the pages of FSM, and I am fine with that.

Ditto on the 190 walkaround. You might try “Cutting Edge”, they make poseable resin seatbelts for many aircraft including late model 190s I think. Don’t be such a hard guy on aftermarket users. It already takes me an average of 50 hrs to build a kit with very little added details. I’ll use photo etch, resin, and even scatch some parts. I’m just trying to build more than one or two kits in this lifetime, and after market stuff helps me along. So give us a break here! And heck, I am a real modeler! (I hope so…maybe…oh the heck with it).
