Well here’s the next build on the assembly line[:P] just have the cockpit going right now the seat belts are made from a paper bag and the hardware is from bits and peaces i had. More progress later in the week.

Smokin…your IP looks nice. Form the look of the instructions, it looks like a Hasegawa kit. Which scale is it? and which markings are you going with? I’ve built a Tamiya Butcher Bird and it’s still one of my favorite on the shelf. I don’t know if I should say “post more pics” or “stop posting pics because you’re making me want to build another one”!

Thanks all for droping in and taking a look. So far i have the office done minus the decal on the top by the seat, as said before seatbelts are from a brown paper bag and the buckles are from my P-38 and bits from an eduard F-4 set so what ya think.

Hers another update gave the wheel well a wash with rust and black paint thinned with mineral spirits.
Well finly got some color on it i painted the fusalage sides and under niethe RLM lightblue.

OK I see you said they were from brown paper bags. OK need more info. Are they just strips you cut out or are they folded ? And how did you weather them ?

Yea Bud just cut a straight line and just feed them threw the buckles the only place i foold over is where the 2 end buckles are at, To weather them was easy as pickin your nose its realy thinned down black paint that brushed on at certin spots since its paper it sokes right and looks good.

Mel thanks some times it takes not having money to find the good idea’s.
Well she’s got some color real color i painted the camo scheme by useing the playdoe as masking and it worked out real good. Once it was dry i took lighter the same colors mixed with white to tone them down to spray inside the panel’s to give it the faded look.
