I live in Australia and a recent edition of FSM indicated that the local equivalent to Future was a product called One-go floor polish. I had some experience with this product, as I used to use it when I was in the army to add shine to my parade boots, after polishing them. So I thought I would give it a try.
It worked very well with clear plastic parts, but when I airbrushed it onto the starboard wing of the kit I found the finish to be uneven and relatively poor (3 coats airbrushed over the weekend). Is there something I should be doing which would improve the finish? Do any Australians know of a better product available?
Go to swanny’s site and to the tab called “the complete future”. It list all the future equivents around the world I think.
You can try to lower your pressure and spray a heavier coat, might work.
Sounds like the Future (One-go) might be starting to set up before it hits the plastic. Maybe you could try less air pressure. Actually, I always brush on Future with a wide, soft brush. Goes on smooth and evens out nicely. Easier to control the amount applied, also.
