In the past have always used Humbrol’s gloss coat prior to applying decals. Seems to work OK but can never get a really shiny gloss coat on the model even though have tried several coats.
Have read a lot about using Future floor wax for a gloss coat and wonder if it would be better and give a glossier coat than I have been able to acheive with Humbrols finish?
Also if Future is used on whole model through airbrush, is it mixed with water to the same consistency as an acrylic or enamel paint would be in order to spray it through the brush and can it be safely dull coated or satin coated after the final gloss coat over decals?
Mercury,

Thanks for the info. Have checked out the site on Future and will be giving it a try on the Mirage F1 that am currently building.
