I have read and heard alot about Future Floor Wax being applied to armor and other types of models for the purpose of making it easier to apply decals and washes. My question is can you also drybrush enamels, acrylic paint or pastels over a Future finish? Or is it best to apply Dullcote or some other flattening agent first before weathering?
Thanks,
Brian
Brian, Welcome to the forums!
Future give you a smooth finish that helps with decaling and applying washes. Dullcote for a better surface for drybrushing, pastels etc. because dullcote has a slightly rough finish.
Welcome to the forums brian!
It is better to use dullcoat for the weathering stages.
Thanks Dan and John. I appreciate your advice on how to weather over a Future finish.
