I was walking around my university when I saw strange things on the ground:

Photo 1: Center parts for a UH-1 type rotor blade, blade mounts and counter balance bar.
Photo 2: The rotor blades that go with it.
Avus,
Now you just need to find the rest of it!
Heavy Arty has won a golden laundry machine![;)]
To be precise it’s the main rotor system from an Agusta-Bell 204 (a Huey built by Agusta under license from Bell).
As I said I was walking around when I saw that thing on the ground and thought “Hey it looks like a rotorblade … no wait IT IS a rotor blade!” So I decided to take some pictures to show you guys.
So you think it’s a sort of treasure hunt, Cobrahistorian?
“Find all the pieces of our helicopter and win a trip to Las Vegas!” [(-D]
Have you checked the local airbase for 1: A Huey without its rotor, 2: a very upset crew chief and 3: A tech with a pocketful of bolts he can’t remember what they were for again.
Is that the Tech that dropped the bolt in Monrads plane?[;)][;)]
LOL Did you happen to pick them up, and put 'em back where they belong??(in your modeling room!!)
kik36[(-D] I must say the temptation to pick them up was veeery big but then I would have look kind of strange with rotorblades poping out of my briefcase!
Michaelvk, thanks for th hint I’ll have a look at the airbases around here![;)]
Either somebody lost a few things or it was one heck of a scavanger hunt.
I know what you mean, as I have a few CH-53E parts lying around mine, and who knows how they got there!? [:-,][angel]
